Summer Skill Share at the WCCW!

It’s been a whirlwind year so far with lots of growth for the WCCW. We’ve been going nonstop since the election with Civics, Co-struggle and Coalition programming quarters, residencies with Carol Zou; Intersectionality Now; Small Fries, Full Lives Collective; and the Moozis, and so many other great events and workshops. We’re currently re-working a few things and are excited to launch a new programming structure this Fall! Therefore, we’ll be taking it easy this summer; learning new skills from our friends, trying out new hobbies, delving into interests we have always been meaning to cultivate – we’re hosting a Summer Skill Share!

We’re looking for proposals for free workshops to take place between June and Mid-August! Do you have a skill-based workshop you’d like to share with the community? We’re looking for everything from political organizing to making your own website, logo design to car maintenance, clothing alterations to producing your own podcast. Instructors offer the event for free, and everyone attends for free (some workshops may have BYO materials).

Have something you want to propose?  Apply here.

Proposals are due by midnight on April 30, 2017.
