Out for Summer Break!

We're Out for Summer Break!

Happy summer!

We’re closing up shop this month from August 9 – September 6 to pause and revel in the summer — maybe you’ll spot us on the internet or in the flesh tending to gardens, getting into nature, hanging with badasses, and embarking on our own creative projects.

We hope you can also give yourself a moment to reset and appreciate a little stillness, and don’t miss our first in-person hang on Sept 2 in collaboration with Navel! You can find more information on that here. Next month, you’ll be introduced to our theme for the fall and a fabulous collection of new programs and publications to keep you sharp. See you then!

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, in 2001 the gambling business spent more than $ 7 million on lobbying its interests, in 2000 – more than $ 11 million. The gambling industry is able to recoup investments in the shortest possible time. For example, in 1978, Atlantic City casinopinup1.ru became the second (after Las Vegas) city in the United States to allow casinos. The cost of building and launching the first Resorts International casino was just over $ 45 million.Already in 1996, the annual turnover of this casino was almost $ 225 million.
