Friday, February 8, 7–9pm
Presented by Los Angeles County Museum of Art
Max 30 participants
The Art + Technology Lab at LACMA provides financial and in-kind support to artist experiments that engage emerging technology. It creates ways for artists to pursue new directions in their practices and to develop projects that wouldn’t be done otherwise. To date, 24 artists from around the world, including Ghana, Ireland, Korea, Mexico, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, have received awards through the Art + Technology Lab.
At this informational session we’ll share an overview of the Art + Technology Lab program, its current open call for proposals, and discuss a few of its past and current projects. The evening will conclude with a question and answer period.
