In this workshop, participants will learn to make:
- An anti-bacterial healing balm for cuts, scrapes, and burns
- A bruise & muscle balm
- Natural mosquito repellant
The cost of the workshop will cover ingredients, materials, and shipping costs to make a large batch of “Healing Kits” to send to Puerto Rico, where they will be distributed to people in rural areas via the Center for Embodied Pedagogy and Action. Each participant will take home their own Healing Kit and a bilingual (English-Spanish) zine with the information covered in the workshop.
