THE SEX I WANT tells the story of a fictional ’70s author and sexual icon, Moira Stellner. When a precocious young journalism student questions whether she truly had “personal agency” during all those old, infamous sexual exploits, Stellner realizes… maybe she didn’t? Or did she? Suddenly, Stellner reinvents herself into a sexual assault awareness leader, but that challenges the carefully crafted image she’s embodied for decades — and some people aren’t happy. A humorous look at the divide between older and younger feminists on whether sexual freedom figures into actual power.
