Programming Open Call 2021-22

We are so excited to be moving into our newest iteration of programming here at FCCW! As we begin to explore our own concept of TV, we are looking to our community to share their best proposals for video segments, in your genre and style of choice, to include as part of our curated Fall and Spring programming. While we’re open to all sorts of work, we’re particularly interested in projects that are in progress or completed, one-off pieces or a short series, and videos that address or incorporate ideas around the following two themes.

SLOW:

This work takes us out of the hustle and bustle and business of our reopening world, slowing down and slowness, introspection, patient process, meditation, capitalist critiques, and more. After a year that was extremely slowed, without our having decided to move in this way, what are things that we learned, what lessons do we wish to enshrine in the aftermath of our global slow down?

FEED:

We feed ourselves daily via multiple sources. What are you intaking? We’re looking for content about food, yes, but also the more abstract notions of feed. What about our social media feeds? What other ways are you sustaining your body, mind and spirit? What does nourishment mean to you and how do you nourish yourself, your loved ones, and community?

We are looking for…

  • IGTV video or Reels
  • TikTok videos
  • Video art
  • Video documentation of performances

We will accept submissions September 21–October 21, 2021.
