The Feminist Reading Group is a community working to understand ourselves, the worlds we occupy, and the texts we read in deep, truthful, respectful, and joyful ways. The group meets to explore many themes: feminist histories, race, class, gender, space, sexuality, art-making, culture, creative practices, relationship, conflict, globalism, family, colonialism, media, aging, work, organizing, reading, politics, writing, activism, and technology, among others. Feminist Reading Group was founded by Dawn Finley and Eileen Ybarra.
Feminist Reading Group happens by demand — anyone can propose a book to read & discuss! If you would like to host a session of Feminist Reading Group, let us know: email [email protected].
