Join Women’s Center for Creative Work for an information session about applying for the Emergency Health Grant for artists. For the first hour, we’ll review tips for applying, answer questions about the grant, and go over the review process in a group. The group session is open and all are welcome.
From 8-9pm, there will also be time to briefly meet with someone 1-on-1 about your specific application.

You may also sign up for a 20 minute private session (Saturday, April 6, 1-5pm) with a writer who can help with your specific grant application. For these appointments, please bring your grant materials as close to complete as possible and have specific questions in mind. Reservations for the private sessions must be made ahead of time. Deadline to apply is April 7, 2019, 11:59pm.

About the Emergency Health Grant for Artists:
To apply for up to $3,000 in emergency health care funds, artists must live in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino or Riverside Counties; identify as female, trans, non-binary, low income, and/or as a person of color; and have a medical, mental health or dental emergency OR have an illness-related financial need. Deadline to apply is April 7, 2019, 11:59pm.
Accessibility information for this event: WCCW has a 36” wide ramp at our front entrance and a stairway with 8 steps and a rail. There are 2 gender neutral restrooms. One restroom is wheelchair accessible, with a handrail. We provide scent free soaps and encourage guests to attend our events scent free.
