Do you love collage but are not into the million scraps of paper you have to clean up after? Do you have Adobe Photoshop on your computer but don’t ever open it because you can’t figure out the layers thing? Do you feel that these two impulse are somehow connected in your mind? They totally are, and we got you.
In this workshop, we will take a break from the world by self-reflecting and creating a digital collage with images, text and shapes while utilizing basic Photoshop essentials and tools. The purpose of this collage is to create a fun art piece compiled of your memories, your interests, your favorite foods. By the end of the workshop, you will have the basic knowledge of key tools that will help pave the way for developing your future projects. Photoshop program and laptop are required.

Pen Tool / Shape Tool / Magic Wand Too / Color Picker / Move Tool / Clone Stamp

Gabrielle Datau graduated from CalArts in 2012 where she holds a BFA degree in Graphic Design. She currently works at a web design studio in Downtown, LA and also started a limited-run clothing project called Poche.
