Grant Writing Workshop

Saturdays, June 13th and 20th, 12-4pm
WCCW: 2425 Glover Pl, Los Angeles 90031

Back by popular demand! (again!)

WCCW presents an intensive 2-day grant writing workshop lead by master grant writer Beth Pickens!

First we will cover an introduction to grantwriting and fundraising for individual artists and small arts organizations (especially queer, trans, people of color, immigrant, and/or female identified) including dispelling myths, money fears, and cultural socialization that prevents these artists from seeking support. Next, we will refine the project we want to get funded including writing a mission/artist statement; narrative; budget; support materials; and identifying 3-5 opportunities for support. Lastly, everybody will submit a $500 request for professional development support from Center for Cultural Innovation’s Quick Grant. Each session is limited to 15 participants.
