An Intimate Workshop for Healers, Activists, Educators and Yoga Practitioners

We have our work cut out for us right now as healers, activists, educators and yogis/yoginis. Many of us are dealing with higher levels of stress, anxiety, fatigue, overwhelm and depression, lately. It can all build up.

We may feel all kinds of emotions that can get stuck in the body. Without moving these emotions through we may even feel like our heart is breaking, over and over, personally, culturally, politically, socially, spiritually.

We need healing spaces for ourselves to authentically feel and express our emotions, release the pressure, allow the nervous system to settle, and breathe deeply as we recommit to skillful action.

In this workshop, together we will experience powerful practices like yoga, breathing and meditation that help support us mending our spirits as we act, transform, care, and support ourselves and others.

Through yoga asana practice, meditation, reflection and discussion, we will get into the body, practice radical self care, connect in community, and deepen our joyful resolve for love to prevail over hatred, fear and divisiveness.

No prior yoga experience necessary. All levels welcome.

In this workshop, we will:

Practice–  We will move our bodies and express our emotions to rekindle the ability to feel joy, hope, compassion, and even serenity and love.

Reflect –  Use meditative techniques to Identify emotions that may be clouding our minds, judgment, decision making abilities and lives.

Ground – Experience a grounding, heart-opening practice to set a stable foundation for the mind, body and spirit to rest and reset.

Nourish –  We will nourish the heart directly to reawaken our joy and love.

Ignite– Share tools to ignite our strength to create change in ourselves and in the world around us.

Workshop Schedule – 3 hours

  • Grounding meditation
  • Enjoy a 1 hour slow, nourishing and heart opening yoga flow
  • Reflect and release. Journal prompts:
  • Council: build community / share tools
  • Breath for freedom and love

Expect to move, breathe, journal, connect, laugh, perhaps even cry. You will leave feeling lighter  than when you arrived.

Take time for yourself, to release, recharge, connect and heal. Learn or deepen skills and practices of healing, love and wholeness.

This is an Intimate Community Workshop for Love Donation.

Because self love is a precious, radical act that benefits ourselves and the world.
