The Neverending Balloon is a design+build studio specializing in carefully considered, handmade objects ranging from residential and commercial furniture and fixture, to educational tools for non-profit organizations. The female-centric studio is led by Michele Liu, who is a graduate of Otis College of Art & Design and Design Academy Eindhoven, concentrates on how our built environment influences our daily lives.

The NEB pays homage to the old school way of thinking and doing where everything is designed in-house with hand drawings and handmade scaled models. The designs are then fabricated by Michele alongside other highly skilled craftswomen from ethically sourced materials, ensuring that everything is made with the utmost attention and that the studio does not contribute to the culture of throwaway goods.
