Are you putting your best foot forward when you submit your résumé? If you’ve got the skills and experience but haven’t landed the interview, your resumé may be speaking louder than your work.
In this workshop, you will learn how to construct and design your résumé or curriculum vitae. We will look at how to best edit and display your history with the goal of having a final piece that is both clear and unique to you as an individual.

Participants will need to gather all of their relevant work, volunteer and education history prior to the workshop, as well as bring a laptop equipped with Adobe InDesign. Participants are recommended to open InDesign and tinker around for an hour or two prior to the workshop—a little familiarity will go a long way.

Christiana Morgenroth is a Community Lead at WeWork, a diverse community of creators and the fifth largest startup in the world. She regularly produces women’s empowerment events and is responsible for growing businesses of every size. She is also the very good-looking host and producer of a storytelling show called Personally Speaking.

Brooke Irish is a Los Angeles-based graphic designer. By day, she works to create identity systems for companies and non-profits as a freelancer. By night, she designs books, posters and other lovely things as 1/2 of Father Madre.Brooke—Instagram @bkirish @fathermadre
