Field Trip to Yvonne Rainer: Dances and Films at the Getty

Saturday, September 6th, 2014 11am–4pm
1200 Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles

WCCW is excited to host our first field trip! We’ll provide transportation from Downtown LA to the Getty Center in Brentwood where will meet up with Glenn Phillips, curator of Yvonne Rainer: Dances and Films for an enlightening walkthrough of the exhibition. We’ll continue the day with a delicious picnic lunch prepared by Eden’s Herbals and stay for a screening of Rainer’s short films: Hand Movie (1966), Volleyball (Foot Film) (1967), Rhode Island Red (1968), Trio Film (1968), and Line (1969).
